On Sept. 5, the College of Engineering welcomed some-1,100 new students with a daylong event on Engineering Mall. Designed to help new students meet their peers and become part of the Wisconsin engineering community, the event included lots of social time, a walk down Dayton Street to the chancellor’s convocation at the Kohl Center, lunch on Engineering Mall, and a fun, timed team-building activity.
Students arrive, grab a snack and a t-shirt and join others in their major.
