The University of Wisconsin–Madison ranked ninth overall (a three-way tie) among schools offering high-quality online graduate engineering programs by U.S. News & World Report. UW–Madison has ranked in the top 10 since 2010.
This important distinction was announced Jan. 15, 2019, as U.S. News & World Report released its most recent ranking of online master’s of engineering degree programs, which require eligible programs to pass rigorous standards for quality education in the areas of faculty credentials and training, student services and technology, peer reputation, student engagement, and admissions selectivity.
