Opotowsky honored with two nuclear opportunities

Engineering Physics PhD student Arrielle Opotowsky received both a Department of Homeland Security Nuclear Forensics Fellowship and a chance to attend an intensive course on nuclear safeguards at the Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. The DHS fellowship offers graduate students hands-on laboratory practicums at federal laboratories, with an eye toward training the nuclear forensic experts the U.S. government needs. The Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, based at Middlebury College in Vermont, is the country's largest non-governmental organization dedicated to researching nuclear nonproliferation issues.
