ISyE student on winning team at investment competition
Industrial and systems engineering junior Max Vielmetti and his team of fellow UW-Madison students took first place in the J.P. Morgan Inaugural Midwest Investment Banking Case Challenge on November 1, 2013, in Chicago. In the competition, students from 11 universities, including Northwestern and Notre Dame, gave presentations on the fairness of two proposed acquisitions. Joining Vielmetti on the team were Wisconsin School of Business students Tim Schliddt and Terry Mullin and College of Letters and Sciences student Michael Miernowski. Read more.
