Ann Bisantz, Dean of Undergraduate Education and Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. Her research interests are in cognitive engineering, human decision-making, human-computer interface design, and complex work system analysis. This talk describes results from field studies cognitive engineering analyses, and human-in-the-loop studies that can better inform the design of health IT for emergency medicine.
