The office provides event planning and email marketing support for alumni relations, both on and off campus. EER organizes and prepares communication for the annual college Engineers’ Day. We provide targeted communications to highlight top development priorities to alumni.
Our staff produces more than 100 news releases per year on major research, teaching and public service advances in the college, working closely with University Communications on state and national distribution. We maintain close relationships with key media covering higher education, engineering and science beats and promote faculty experts on hot topics in the news. We advise individuals and departments on media strategy and provide issues management support on challenging media topics.
Digital media services
We manage a variety of online products aimed at reaching targeted audiences, including blogs for students and alumni, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn news feeds and a college YouTube channel. EER can help college departments update their website presence through design and content management services. We provide both in-house and vendor-based video production on top college priorities.

We write, edit and publish the signature college publication, Perspective Magazine, which is distributed to all alumni of the college twice annually. EER also manages print and electronic departmental newsletters and targeted development communication tools.

Our office provides graphic identity standards for the college, maintains a large photo library, designs all college publications, provides special event support and signage, serves as liaison for all printing services and mailings, and produces a wide range of collateral materials (stationery, letterhead, business cards, etc.).
