University of Wisconsin Madison College of Engineering

CoE Advising Centers

Each College of Engineering program has an advising center dedicated to serving their students. Program advisors can help students with questions about course access, navigating degree requirements, resolving academic issues and more. Students can find their advisor on the homepage of their student center. If you have an immediate concern, please email your advisor, stop in to your advising center or call 608-262-2473.

  • All College of Engineering academic advisors will have drop-in hours for freshmen and new transfer students on September 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 from 1pm-4pm. During this time, students with quick questions are encouraged to stop in and receive help on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • For math scheduling issues during the first two weeks of the semester, visit the Math Help Desk at 307 Van Vleck.
  • For chemistry scheduling issues during the first two weeks of the semester, visit the Chemistry Help Desk at 1328 Chemistry Building.

For all appointments after September 12th, students are encouraged to use the scheduling wizard.

For general advising questions, please call 608-262-2473.
