Summer Launch programs

A smart start to your academic career

The College of Engineering’s Summer Launch programs help students like you—incoming first-year students—get a head start on your degree by taking a required introductory engineering class in the month before your freshman year.

Engineering Summer Launch is designed for students interested in mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering. If you are still exploring your interests, this program can satisfy “Introduction to Engineering” requirements for other engineering majors, too.

Electrical and Computer Engineering Summer Launch

Electrical and Computer Engineering Summer Launch is for students interested in electrical engineering or computer engineering. Students will complete ECE 210: “Introductory Experience in Electrical Engineering” as part of the program.
