B.S. in M.E., E.E., 1913, Ohio State University.

Associated with Cutler–Hammer since 1913, in Shop and Engineering Department as General Supervisor in Engineering Department, Asst. Chief Engineer, Chief Engineer. Manager of Development, Vice-President in charge of development and Asst. Secretary.

Holder of approximately 80 patents on electromagnetic devices and control systems.

Author of many publications and magazine articles.

Member: International Association of Electrical Inspectors, Advisor Committee for Wisconsin State Electrical Code, Committee on Elevator Safety Code of American Standards Association, Navy League of United States, Army Ordnance Association.

Member: Eta Kappa Nu, Triangle, Sigma Xi, and various other technical committees and societies.
