Successively coal passer, fireman, oiler, assistant engineer, chief engineer of operation, superintendent of power plants and chief engineer of power plants—Wisconsin Electric Power Company.

Member of A. S. M. E. and Edison Electric Institute.

Author of several patents on pulverized coal burning.

Recognized nationally as authority on pulverized coal burning.
