Reflecting back on my three years as a member of the UW-Madison ASCE Concrete Canoe Team, I continue to be good friends with a lot of former teammates. Professionally our paths cross often, but more importantly we’ve all shared in events as significant as standing up in each other’s weddings. Our time together during college seemed ordinary back then, but I truly hold the opportunity to be a part of that team as an invaluable experience now. I regularly give back to the Concrete Canoe Team so that current and future students can have the same opportunities to build the long-lasting relationships that I was provided.
