My best moment at Madison was meeting my future wife of 42 years. (Other ‘best memories’ will have to remain private.) We support the university because my wife Dorothy and I both benefited tremendously from the academic and philosophical knowledge we gained in Madison. True, we also enjoyed the occasional social event. And now we want to assure that future generations can benefit from a Madison experience so we contribute our time and financial resources.
I am currently chair of the UW Foundation board and serve on the advisory boards of the College of Engineering and the Center for Brand and Product Management. Dorothy is on the School of Human Ecology board and an emeritus member of the Brand Management Advisory Board.”
