Wisconsin Engineer, a magazine published by and for engineering student at UW-Madison, featured Moovada on its cover for its February edition. The photo included SAE Formula One, Hybrid Vehicle Team, and the Human Powered Vehicle Team because they are all student organizations that will be participating in Engineering Expo this year.  In addition, Wisconsin Engineer wrote a two page article exclusively on the Hybrid Vehicle team titled "UW-Madison Hybrid Vehicle Team drives towards the next generation of SUVs."

The Hybrid team traveled to Texas this weekend for on road emissions testing.  While in Austin, TX there was a Ride'n'Drive PR event for which several media outlets were present.  Look for an article on this visit in the next edition of the Quarterly Cow!

UW-Madison Hybrid Team Kick-off was held in Rm. 1610 Engineering Hall.  A video featuring the Hybrid team and Challenge X was played followed by a talk on of what being on the hybrid team is like and what opportunities are available to people on the team.  The kick-off continued with free pizza and soda provided by UW-Madison and a tour of the garage in which the team works on their hybrid vehicle "Moovada."

The Band Hot Buttered Rum gave an alternative fuel car show in front Engineering Hall.  This band uses a bus that runs on biodiesel and vegetable oil.
