from all majors. We serve as the UW-Madison Institute of Transportation
Engineers (ITE) student chapter. Remember,
membership in UWiTS is free and
free food is served at our monthly lunch meetings (unless noted

Milwaukee Breakfast: Tuesday,
September 14th at the Radisson Hotel Milwaukee West. The topic
is “Public Involvement or Public Relations – Which is it?” The cost is $15

Forum: September 21 at UW- Milwaukee’s Center for Continuing
Education. The Forum is a great opportunity for professionals to expand their
knowledge and understanding of the newest transportation technologies and
operational tactics. This year's technical program provides participants with
a diverse range of public and private sector speakers and touches upon several
diverse topics. Registration Fee is $45 and the deadline is September 14.

UW Campus Transportation
Committee: The web address to apply for ASM appointments is

Annual Transportation Forum: October 6 at Country Inn in
Pewaukee. Some of this year's forum agenda include discussion on various
projects around the state including the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee, the
North Mendota Parkway near Madison, the intermodal facility in Illinois, the
Wisconsin Statewide Multimodal Travel Demand Model. Registration is $10 for
students. Deadline for registration is Friday, September 17. Contact

Colloqium on Aging: October
13 at Monona Terrace. A one-day event that includes speakers, health
