The Las Delicias Water Project
Coordinated through the non-profit ![]()
The project will provide 6,100 people in three communities with clean water. Currently, the average annual income of each household is around $1,000. One third of that income is spent on water carried by trucks from one of the most highly contaminated rivers in El Salvador. The families use this water for cooking, drinking, and washing.
All proceeds of the Pi Mile Run will directly support the proposed water system. One of the largest costs of the project is the piping system that will bring freshwater from the well to the communities. Each registration fee will pay for the equipment and labor to install 8 feet of piping. Your registration or donation will make a difference!
