NAME: Kristen Seashore
YEAR: Grad Student
MAJOR: Biomedical Engineering
HOMETOWN: Woodbury, MN
EMAIL: seashore@wisc.edu
ABOUT ME:
I am generally an outgoing person who loves to spend time with my friends. I am really into taco dinners. I bought a hedgehog as a freshman and kept it illegally in the dorms. I also pulled a prank with two chickens on a neighboring house. I take school very seriously.
MY INVOLVEMENT WITH SWE:
As a senior in high school, I attended SWE's Day on Campus. I fell in love with the organization and joined as soon as I started college. I was one of the Girl Scout Co-Chairs in 2006-2007 where I got to help plan badge days. I am super excited to be the Grad Affairs officer this year and I'm hoping to dramatically increase the attendance to SWEGA events!
JOB EXPERIENCE:
I had a co-op and internship with GE Healthcare in Madison working on software validation for ventilators. I also had an internship with GEHC in Waukesha working on image quality for CT scanners.
FAVORITE THING TO DO ON CAMPUS:
Plan pranks on campus tours with my friends. And go to hockey games.
ONE THING PEOPLE NEVER GUESS ABOUT ME:
I helped write, film, and edit a horror movie trilogy (ask about it sometime).
