ABOUT ME:
I am a junior in chemical engineering from the Twin Cities area. Even though I grew up in Minnesota, I am definitely 100% Badger, and it drives my Gopher fanatic family crazy! When I am not busy with school work I love being physically active and just being outdoors. My favorite sport to play is definitely ice hockey. My favorite Badger sport to watch is football... you just can't beat the atmosphere. I absolutely love the beauty of nature, and being out in nature is a very relaxing and calming place to go when you need to relax.

MY INVOLVEMENT WITH SWE:
I joined SWE my freshman year. I love getting to meet new people and make new friends through SWE. I participated in the Big Sib, Little Sib program, volunteered with Community Service, and helped out with Girl Scouts. I also was a member of the Boeing Tech Team for the past 2 years, and I learned a lot through that experience. I was the Special Events officer last year, and I got to plan many fun, new events! This year I am the Vice President of Communications.

JOB EXPERIENCE:
This past summer I worked at Kraft Foods- Oscar Mayer as a Research and Development Intern. It was a very cool experience and I learned so much! Prior to that, I worked at The Hartford over summer and winter breaks.

FAVORITE CLASS/PROFESSOR:
My favorite professor was David Zimmerman, and I had him for an English Lit class. He makes lectures very exciting... face it, he played his guitar and sang to us in class!!!
