Meeting 1/30/07
- T-shirt Update

• sending out final design for price quotes

- Tutoring

• Gabe brought up the idea of moving the tutoring to the new E-Hall lobby. We agreed to do that.
• He'll be targeting two nights a week (probably Tuesday and Wednesday). Once he's ready with the schedule and location and such, then we'll look at sending out email to the engineering lists and professors and such.

- Career Fair

• Pat, Joe, and Colin will try to talk to companies tomorrow at the career fair, and Gabe and Jessica will have some time on Wednesday to do the same.
• I compiled a list of the companies that were looking for CMPE and EE majors (attached), and we eliminated some (like government agencies and general consulting firms). We'll try to visit a number of the rest.

- Resume Booklet

• Jessica has received about 10 responses, which we decided to use to update last semester's booklet, rather than send out only 10 resumes.

- Bloomberg

• Bloomberg contacted us through Pat and is partnering with us.
• Tyler has a number of signs to hang up for their info session tomorrow, and Pat is working with them on the partnership details (invoice, etc)

- Intuit

• Pat will get in contact with Moneypenny, and shoot for about 2 weeks out for a 30-min talk on software engineering.
• We decided to do this separately from a general HKN meeting, both for scheduling and so that we can invite CS as well.

- Social Events

• Ideas proposed: video game night (Tong is a possibility), study night (near end of semester), skiing trip (I think Jessica & Gabe mentioned Tuesdays or Fridays for $10?)

• Qualcomm expressed interest in partnership
• MIT Lincoln Labs presentation possibilities
