students who are interested in human factors
- Opportunity to recruit undergraduate students who may be looking for research
experience and/or a graduate advisor
- Interact with graduate students in a social setting
- Student/professor social events
- Help publicize the University of Wisconsin-Madison locally and internationally
through HFES activities and accomplishments
- Let HFES members take over some of the burden for scheduling and staffing
events (e.g., awards banquets, Colloquium speaker series, etc.)
