What does UW-HFES
do? |
We offer a wide variety of services
as well as education, social, and outreach activities
in an effort to achieve our three-pronged purpose:
- To promote and support in every way our
members' academic and intellectual development as experts in human factors.
- To promote cooperation and networking between
individuals and groups with a shared interest in human factors.
- To promote an understanding and application of
human factors in the community.

Who can join
UW-HFES? |
We extend membership to:
a. University of Wisconsin-Madison students
Graduate students AND undergraduate
students
b. College students not affiliated with the UW
Students whose institution does
not have an HFES
chapter are welcome to join UW-HFES
c. University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty and staff
d. Area professionals
and alumni
Industry members who have a human
factors-related
interest (e.g., safety, ergonomic design, organizational
design and management) are welcome by the chapter
e. Community members
