Welcome to the University of Wisconsin
Student Chapter of HFES

Thank you to all those who came to the Spring 2006 kick-off and made it a grand success! We have many events planned.

OUR PURPOSE:

  1. To promote and support in every way our members' academic and intellectual development as experts in human factors.
    Activities: Invited speakers, research and funding opportunities, field trips, paper discussions, peer mentoring, panels and forums.
     
  2. To promote cooperation and networking between individuals and groups with a shared interest in human factors.
    Activities: Student and student-faculty socials, conference activities, on-line member profiles, awards banquets/receptions, new student welcome activities.
     
  3. To promote an understanding and application of human factors in the community.
    Activities: Community outreach, industry/community partnerships, publicity through the web and other media, participation in campus and community activities.
