Welcome to the UW Steel Bridge Team History page.  Our team was started the very first year of the National Competition in 1992.  We first qualified for the National Competition in 1994, but did not attend the event due to lack of funding.  In 1998, we again qualified, and this time, we traveled to Fort Collins, CO to compete.  We've qualified for the NSSBC each year since 1998 marking the longest streak in our Great Lakes Region.
