Also, keep in mind that we will be holding officer elections the Wednesday after we get back - December 2nd. The open positions are...

Week of November 15th
Hey everyone,
BMES has been going strong, with huge turnouts at every event last week. It was great to see so many new members getting involved. We have a lot more to come before Thanksgiving, including a General Meeting with GE Healthcare this Wednesday, another Class Advising Session and our first EVER Lab of the Month touring Professor Websters lab. Oh yea, and I almost forgot the best one - BMESsen Haus. I know that I will be making a bee-line there after my exams to enjoy some German food (and maybe a boot or two). As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
See you this Wednesday,
Mike Conrardy
BMES President

Week of November 8th
Hey everyone,
Hope you had a good weekend. I know that many of you will be signing up for classes soon. For those of you who are unsure which classes to take (or which professors are best), I urge you to take advantage of the BMES class advising this Thursday and next Monday. Get the inside scoop on classes from your fellow BMESers, and make sure you dont take classes you wont need. Please take a minute to fill out the "rate my professor" survey that Hallie put together so others can know which professors are best (or worst). Oh yea, and there will be free pizza!!!
In addition to class advising, we have a Design Concepts tour this Friday. The CEO of Design Concepts spoke to BMES last fall, and immediately afterwards many students were interested in touring the company. Well, we are finally going, so for those of you interested in industry, check this out!
Have a good week,
Mike Conrardy
