Banquet Committee
The ASME Banquet Chair is Diana Haidar. If you would like to
help plan an event by joining the banquet committee,
contact Diana, haidar@wisc.edu.
The main purpose of the Banquet Chair is to plan the Fall Initiation
and Spring Awards Banquets. The chair is currently looking for members
to join the Banquet Committee and help plan these events. This is a
great opportunity to share your ideas with ASME. To join, please e-
mail the chair.
The annual FUSE dinner was recently under the position of banquet chair
but has recently been passed on to the Polygon Engineering Student
Council with the help of the Dean's Leadership Class. The FUSE dinner
is a formal event that brings together industry and students to discuss
diversity, ethics, and other issues within engineering and science.
ASME strongly encourages attendance at this event.
The Banquet Chair is also in charge of tabulating the points for
outstanding member awards so if you have questions about what you need
to do to achieve outstanding member status and/or where you stand
please email this chair.
