Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship
The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program was established by Congress in 1986 to honor Senator Barry M. Goldwater, who served his country for 56 years as a soldier and statesman, including 30 years of service in the U.S. Senate. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide a continuing source of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians, and engineers by awarding scholarships to college students who intend to pursue careers in these fields.

Wisconsin/Hilldale Undergraduate Scholarship
The Hilldale Undergraduate Scholarships support undergraduate research done in collaboration with UW–Madison faculty or research/instructional academic staff. Applicants must have at least junior standing at the time of application.

AIST Scholarship
Administered by The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) and the Association for Iron and Steel Technology Foundation (AIST Foundation), these scholarships were established in 2006 as part of the STEEL Engineering Education Link Initiative. Each recipient will be awarded $5,000 their junior year, a paid summer internship with a North American steel company between their junior and senior year, and $5,000 toward their senior year tuition. It is the program's goal that this scholarship and summer internship provides incentive for students to become involved in the steel industry. As a result, students entering the program are ensured a two-year commitment by the program, provided a satisfactory performance by the student both academically and in their internship.

ISS Foundation Scholarship
Two-$2,000 cash award scholarships with up to $500 in travel reimbursements are available to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in metallurgical and/or materials science and engineering with an emphasis on all aspects of the high-temperature, high-performance materials used in the gas turbine industry and all other applications. Awards are presented in conjunction with the Materials Science and Technology Conference .

ASM Foundation Undergrad Scholarship
Since 1953, the ASM Materials Education Foundation and leading ASM Chapters nationwide have awarded scholarships totaling over $1 million. Currently 37 scholarships are awarded annually through the ASM International Foundation, which is supported by member contributions and other gifts. Most of these awards include a certificate of recognition, travel and housing allowances for attendance at the awards ceremony during the Society's annual Awards Dinner. The ASM Foundation Scholarship Awards and the ASM Foundation Technical & Community College Scholarship Awards are presented through local ASM chapters.

H.H. Harris Foundation
The H. H. Harris Foundation was created for the purpose of providing scholarships and other forms of eductional aid to students and professionals in the metallurgical and casting of metals field who are U.S. Citizens.
