WEEL sponsors a professional development series called Teaching in Motion, which will return Spring 2002.
WEEL is involved in two major education projects, Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) and Foundation Coalition (FC), and also oversees the college's Education Committee.
The college's accreditation visit by ABET occurred in November 2000.
