If you have a story idea for the media, Engineering External Relations is your first stop. Working with University Communications, we can suggest options for reaching the media. Although we can't guarantee the media will use your story, we will work to “sell” it. Wisconsin Week, On Wisconsin, and other campus publications, including some that have national distribution, print stories about engineering. EER also can use these stories for the college’s alumni quarterly, Perspective, which has a national distribution. For help with a story idea, contact James C. Beal at 608/263-0611.
EER handles administration and some development work for the college’s website. We offer limited development support to departments and programs and serve as a resource for those who have questions about policy or creating and linking their own website.
We also load printed publications we have created onto the COE website as a service to our publications clients. Clients who need frequent additions or changes to such a site may need to engage their own site administrator.
Several versions of the College of Engineering logo are available at http://www.engr.wisc.edu/logos/ for use in college projects. Before you use the logo, please review the usage guidelines on the main logo page.
