Engineering External Relations (EER) provides media relations and support, including press releases, tip and fact sheets.

We arrange interviews with College of Engineering administration, faculty, researchers, staff and students (along with University Communications). Interviews are available via a variety of technologies including satellite uplink. For more information contact James Beal, 608/263-0611, jbealatengr.wisc.edu.

Our office maintains an extensive archive of College of Engineering photos available upon request in a variety of formats. A sample of the archive is available on the website. High-resolution photographs are available upon request.

For college faculty and staff

EER also manages the College of Engineering World Wide Web site and assists faculty and staff with producing communications for audiences important to the college, especially industry, alumni, prospective students, the media, the Wisconsin public, and state government.

In addition to helping departments develop printed and web-based materials, we produce the college's Annual Report and the alumni newspaper Perspective. EER's editing and design services are available on a limited basis to College of Engineering departments and programs only.
