GENEROUS GIFTS to the UW-Madison College of Engineering from alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations provide the resources necessary for awarding scholarships and fellowships to students, recruiting and retaining outstanding faculty and staff, improving and equipping learning and research facilities, and advancing the college's national and international reputation for excellence.

All philanthropic development activity for the College of Engineering is administered by the University of Wisconsin Foundation. The UW Foundation raises, receives, invests, and distributes charitable gifts and estate bequests in support of the university.

The college has several goals and needs that can only be met through private contributions — many gift and naming opportunities have been identified.
