Career Connection 2002 pairs students with employers

Throngs of students mixed with 140 employers in Engineering Hall during Career Connection 2002. A history of positive, productive career fairs and recruiting experiences continues to bring employers back to the college each September for the four-day event.

"While nearly twice as many employers participated in Career Connection during the 'boom economy' just two years ago, we feel fortunate to have this level of commitment from corporations and governmental agencies given current economic conditions," says Career Connection 2002 coordinator Mark Mastalski.

Career Connection is designed to allow students to meet employer representatives (in many cases, UW-Madison alumni) in a casual environment before they begin their formal job search.
