| Dean Bollinger announces retirement |
|
College of Engineering Dean John G. Bollinger has announced that he will retire from his position as dean, effective July 1, 1999.
He will remain on the college faculty, working on a variety of projects such as developing and teaching new curricula materials of national interest. He also plans to work on an Internet version of a text on automatic controls.
Chancellor David Ward will appoint a search committee in the coming
months to find a successor to Bollinger, who has been dean since
1981. A national search will be conducted.
