B.S. (Mining E.), 1937, The University of Wisconsin.
After a year with U. S. Gypsum Co., he joined Shell Oil and advanced through various engineering positions to staff engineer, New York; staff engineer, Royal Dutch Shell, The Hague; chief exploitation engineer, Denver; manager. Exploration and Production Economics, New York; general manager, Information and Computer Services, New York; and to his present position in 1964.

Born, Delton, Michigan, June 28, 1895.
B.S., 1917, M.S., 1919 (Physics), The University of Wisconsin.
Vacuum tubes developed through his research here made possible the first radio broadcast station in the U. S., called then 9XM, now WHA.On Electrical Engineering faculty, University of Minnesota, 1920-1929, helping found the National Association of Broadcasters, 1923.
Organized his present firm of Consulting Radio Engineers in 1930.
Has served on numerous national and international boards and commissions, particularly on use of radio and radar in navigation.
Member, National Executive Committee, Sigma Xi, since 1957.
DONALD C. MINARD |
Chairman of the Board, The Trane Company, La Crosse.
Born, Rockford, Illinois, May 21, 1903.
B.S. (M.E.), Iowa State College, 1925.
Joined Trane Company after graduation and was assigned to the Buffalo office. Transferring to the home office in 1927, he advanced to vice president and later director. He became executive vice president in 1946, president in 1951, and was elected to his present position in 1963.
Director, Northern States Power Company and Northwest Bancorporation.

Born, Lansing, Michigan, December 23, 1901.
B.S. (C.E.), 1923, The University of Wisconsin.
Instructor in Hydraulic and Sanitary Engineering, The University of Wisconsin, 1923-1925.
With Greeley and Hansen since 1925; Partner since 1940. Has shared in, performed, and directed the engineering services for many water supply, sewerage and sewage treatment projects in various parts of the United States.
Active in numerous technical and professional societies, particularly the American Society of Civil Engineers, of which he was Vice President, 1963-1964.
