UW-Madison engineer a 2014 NAE workshop participant

Andrew Quanbeck, a systems engineer with the Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies, will participate in a National Academy of Engineering symposium. The 20th annual U.S. Frontiers of Engineering symposium will be held September 11-13 at the National Academies Beckman Center in Irvine, California.

Quanbeck will be one of 83 participants, nominated by fellow engineers and chosen based on based exceptional engineering research and technical work. The event will cover cutting-edge developments in next-generation robotics, frontiers in materials for batteries, shale gas and oil, and technologies for the heart.
