Engineering Physics PhD student wins NASA fellowship

Aaron Olson, a PhD student in the Department of Engineering Physics, has received a space technology research fellowship from NASA. The NASA program supports the development of innovative technology to advance space science and exploration by both governmental agencies and the commercial space sector. Olson earned the fellowship for his proposal, "Lunar volatiles extraction technology for future fusion power and multi-outpost scale human space exploration," which builds off his current research activities.
