The National Science Foundation has awarded Chemical and Biological Engineering Associate Professor Christos Maravelias and Industrial and Systems Engineering Associate Professor Ananth Krishnamurthy a $325,000 grant. Their research, “Control and optimization of bio-manufacturing system,” aims to address issues related to both the upstream and downstream bio-manufacturing process.
