ME undergrad earns ASME scholarship
Mechanical engineering undergraduate Cody Eaton has received a $2,000 Agnes Malakate Kezios Scholarship from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Auxiliary. It is one of five such awards offered annually to undergraduate seniors based on academic achievement, character and ASME involvement.
Eaton also is pursuing a certificate in engineering thermal energy systems and has participated in research in the Solar Energy Laboratory and in the Engine Research Center. Currently, he is an engineering intern at a top U.S. oil refinery. “I have no doubt that my education, influenced by some of the best in the field, will allow me to make a positive impact in the engineering field,” he says.
