Honors in vehicle research for two ISyE students
Industrial and systems engineering PhD student Joonbum Lee earned first place for his paper, “Evaluating the distraction potential of connected vehicles,” in the Intel outstanding student paper competition at the 4th International Conference on Automotive User Interfaces and Interactive Vehicular Applications. In addition, PhD student Shannon Roberts earned second place for her paper, “Effect of performance feedback (or lack thereof) on driver calibration,” in the same competition. Both are students of Emerson Electrical Quality & Productivity Professor John Lee.
