Turng student wins plastics paper award

Mechanical engineering PhD student Xiaofei Sun earned an award for his paper, "Investigation of supercritical fluid-laden pellet injection molding foaming technology (SIFT)," the 2012 Society of Plastics Engineers annual conference in early April. Judges named the Sun’s paper the best graduate student paper in the injection molding division. Sun is studying under Mechanical Engineering Professor Lih-Sheng (Tom) Turng.
