Sanchez wins best paper award

Materials Science Program doctoral student and GERS scholar Jose R. Sanchez Perez won the 2012 Ken Hass Outstanding Student Paper Award at the American Physical Society Forum on Industrial & Applied Physics. His paper was titled “Direct-bandgap infrared light emission from tensilely strained germanium nano membranes."
