CBE professor honored by American Chemical Society

Steenbock Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering James Dumesic was awarded the American Chemical Society George A. Olah Award in Hydrocarbon or Petroleum Chemistry. The award recognizes his groundbreaking contributions to the literature and practice of catalytic hydrocarbon chemistry, laying the foundations for transforming renewable biomass products to liquid fuels and chemicals. Dumesic will receive the award at the society's 243rd national meeting in San Diego next March.
