Eom joins MRS board

The Materials Research Society has elected Materials Science and Engineering Professor Chang-Beom Eom to a three-year term on its board of directors. Eom began his term on the board January 1, 2011. Board members serve on one of three committees: planning, operational and strategic oversight, and external relations, and each committee has specific duties and is responsible for formulating policy and strategy in their specific areas.
