Meyerand elected AIMBE fellow
Biomedical Engineering Professor and Chair Mary (Beth) Meyerand has been elected as a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) in recognition of her contributions to medical imaging, clinical neuroengineering, graduate and undergraduate education, functional magnetic resonance imaging and human brain connectivity research. Meyerand is among 107 inductees this year, a group composed of the top two percent of medical and biological engineers in the country. She will be inducted into the AIMBE on February 20, 2012 in Washington, DC.
