The Diversity Affairs Office (DAO) was established to serve traditionally underrepresented students in science and engineering. DAO provides women and students of color with academic, social, financial and administrative support throughout their undergraduate and graduate career on campus. In cooperation with departments and offices, DAO also develops and implements programs to assist in meeting these goals. The Graduate Engineering Research Scholars program, Engineering Summer Program, and Opportunities in Engineering Conference are a few programs in which pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate students may participate.
