In addition to its nine departments, the College of Engineering has six degree-granting programs. Whether geared toward undergraduate or graduate students, each of these programs features a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary studies.

Participating University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty members are based in the following schools and colleges: the College of Engineering, College of Letters and Science, College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, Medical School, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, School of Education and School of Business.
