CONSORTIUM FOR GLOBAL ELECTRONIC COMMERCE
CGEC conducts multidisciplinary research on the use of e-commerce and e-business technologies and complementary re-engineered business processes and organizational strategies to enhance the competitiveness and effectiveness of companies. CGEC is a university-industry partnership promoting education and research of new e-commerce paradigms for business-to-consumer, business-to-business, and intrabusines interactions. Members have access to faculty expertise, applied projects, member workgroups, networking forums, workshops, "Ask an Expert" web/teleconferences and educational materials that assist companies in planning, justifying and implementing e-commerce as a core business strategy. CGEC acts as an unbiased learning community for organizations to share e-commerce implementation experiences, lessons learned, best practices and performance metrics for mutual benchmarking.
