The Biomedical Engineering Student Design Consortium allows biomedical companies to provide real-world design challenges in medicine and biology for students to resolve. Design projects provide biomedical engineering students with hands-on experiences that stimulate their technical competencies and help them acquire the practical skills needed by industry.

Companies participating in this consortium propose projects to suit their interests. Membership benefits include student design projects, targeted summer internships, access to students, company exposure, and student presentations and reports.

Industrial Sponsors: Datex-Ohmeda, GE Medical Systems
