  • Educates students through research experiences in solar and conventional building energy utilization.

  • Applies engineering principles to energy problems.

  • Develops and uses simulation methods for performing numerical experiments on solar heating and cooling, photovoltaics, desiccant cooling, HVAC systems and refrigeration.
