This office is the primary contact point for business, industry and government to access technical capabilities in engineering. The staff develops relationships between industry and college faculty, students, research centers and consortia, creating new opportunities for interaction and cooperative projects. Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining a close relationship with state and federal funding agencies for research and development programs. This office is co-sponsored by the University-Industry Relations (UIR) Program, a campus-wide industrial outreach program operated by UW-Madison's Graduate School.
