QUICK RESPONSE MANUFACTURING CONSORTIUM
This consortium allows industrial partners to interact with the Center for Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM). Research into QRM implementation is conducted cooperatively by faculty, students and member firms, resulting in a better understanding of problems and issues. The consortium is a forum to learn QRM theory and practice, discuss common pitfalls and obstacles encountered during implementation, and help in the transition from the theoretical to the practical. Findings are shared through center workshops, conferences and seminars, and QRM members may choose to exchange performance information for benchmarking.
