heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating technologies.

Promotes advances through project-based technical assistance,
publications and education.

Maintains expertise in specialty areas including optimal control,
indoor air quality, humidity control, district heating and cooling,
thermal energy storage, refrigerant alternative, and industrial
refrigeration (using ammonia as a refrigerant).
